Hours and Directions

The West of the Lake Gardens was designed and named for its unique location by Ruth West in 1934, with numerous additions through 1950. The six and one-half acres consist of ten individual and distinct gardens. Visit the link to view a virtual tour of the West of the Lake Gardens.

Hours:

The gardens are open Saturday May 24th through early October 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week weather permitting. The Lester Bentley Gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

Pertinent Information:

Bus tours must register in advance of visiting the gardens.
Admission and parking are free!
NO WEDDINGS OR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY ARE ALLOWED.
NO food or drink is allowed other than water bottles.
NO pets or companion animals are allowed.
